It was definitely an evening of electrifying stories and tales of the triumph and resilience of women in India.
Cultural anthropologist Stephen Huyler, wove a magical tale of twenty ordinary women who have faced extraordinary challenges in life, only to emerge stronger. Huyler, who came to India on his twentieth birthday has worked extensively with women from different backgrounds for decades and has culminated his experiences in his book ���Daughters of India���.

Moving fluidly between eight women through powerful storytelling and photographs, he highlighted the lives of eight of them who through extraordinary strength and resourcefulness build a life and income for themselves. Later he fielded questions by the audience about his three decade long journey and his tryst with the magnanimous spirit of women of the Indian subcontinent. Truly an evening of amazing grace.
